They are quite stunned to learn that it's a brand new motorcycle - then they realize their mistake when they get very close to the bike.
But that shouldn't be too much of a surprise because there are so few around and have only been available in Canada since 2013.
I'm sure it has happened to many of you too.
It's been happening to me regularly since last year. It's gotten to the point where I can see the question coming just by the expression on the persons face. Kind of a quizzical, confused look.
One leather and denim clad Harley rider at a stop light took me completely by surprise. Rather than inquire about the bike's year, he said, "Hey, is that the new CB1100?". Who woulda guessed?
