I don't feel the extra weight at all when riding. I do think the 14 dlx is marginally harder to put on the centerstand than the 13, and I don't know if that is because of the extra weight or the redesigned centerstand.

I rarely use a centerstand... Usually for chain maintenance or for a particular picture circumstance. Other than that it's side stand for me.

My 750 Nighthawk practically jumped on it's centerstand on command by comparison to any other bike I have owned.
