I am considering trading my '13 for the deluxe model later this year, and can't find any dealer around here to carry it and would like to test ride before switching.
Many reviewers of the DLX say the bike is more stable on highway and handle better, can Ferret confirm this?
The silver engine and 6th speed are what i am after for an extra $5.5K, but my current CB is in excellent condition, I wonder whether I am abusing my wallet. If closing my eyes, they feel the same, will extra cost worthy my wet dream?
That's an interesting figure. I think there's more to the weight increase than just the exhaust system..
off the top of my head I can think of:
6 speed transmission in instead of 5. There's got to be more metal running around to make that happen.
Aluminum sprocket cover instead of plastic.
Bigger fuel tank. There's got to me more metal used to make it bigger.
Have I missed anything else ?
