Thank you What I was trying to find out is if you can tell the date of manufacture of the engine by it's engine number? As far as I can remember, I do not think you can. You can tell which bike was made after or before another one by the sequence of their last numbers, but I think that is all you can tell. For instance, number ...210 would be made after number ...209.
