Honda didn't set out to make the CB the worlds fastest retro styled, air/oil cooled motorcycle. What's being discussed here is what I refer to as the "20+ Syndrome". The guy whose bike makes 40HP (I have one) wishes it made 60. The guy with a 60HP motor wishes it made 80. The guy with an 80HP bike (insert some CB owners here) wishes it made 100hp...and so on. You get the picture. Anybody that doesn't think the CB is fast enough needs to keep a 40HP bike in the garage to provide contrast/perspective for that point of view. I rode the Moto Guzzi V7R this AM for about 50 miles. Love the bike but it's not my first choice for gut wrenching torque well below redline. When I need that I go with the CB. There's ALWAYS somebody with a faster machine....Down that road lies pain and frustration..
