I'm no Racer Rick and I ride fairly conservatively. I haven't ridden a "sport bike" since the CBs were considered sport bikes 
So, I'm not in it to race it, but today I got a big shock. I pulled out of the Cycle Gear parking lot in front of a bunch of guys on different bikes and was feeling like I had something to prove. We had been looking at all the different bikes and everyone liked the looks of CB and most had never seen one. We talked horsepower and all and the gang was nice but not real impressed. So when I pulled out onto the street and got a few yards up the road, I twisted the throttle all the way- first time I've ever done that- and the bike jumped hard and the front wheel lifted. Maybe about 10 inches. I, of course, panicked and let off the throttle right away and the front end whomped down and I wobbled a few times before regaining some control. I'm sure they were laughing back there, but I was so excited to have done my first wheelie that I didn't much care. Not that I will ever try that again. I'm too old for those shenanigans.
Anyhow, this bike has enough power for me and I feel like it could take most cars in a drag race. At least any car that someone my age might drive
