I have a friend over at the NT-Owners.org forum who bought the extended warranty for his NT when he bought it new. It paid off for him, but he has put over 100,000 miles on that bike in the 4 years of extended warranty coverage. I think that if he had less miles during the period, it would not have paid off. So, perhaps if you are really going to RIDE, RIDE, RIDE it, and do not do much of your own wrenching, it may be worth it.
