The only subjective opinions I offered concerned the looks of the two gas tanks, and the sound of each bike. I'll grant that there are still a number of people who prefer the look of the '13's tank, although I have my doubts that too many of those people would say the same if they saw both bikes parked together in person, and weren't already biased as a result of being owners of the '13. I believe that one good look at the '17 in bright sunlight would put paid to any such notions, at least among truly neutral observers. I also believe that one would be hard-pressed to find a single soul who wouldn't prefer the '17's sound after hearing each bike side by side.
Beyond those two things, everything else was factual statements describing the differences between the two bikes, and I left it up to the OP to decide for himself whether those differences meant enough to him to justify the higher cost.
Not true.
When my local dealer first got a '17 in stock I took my '14 and parked beside it to see which bike I liked better. Two separate people walked by and said they liked the blue one better.
