I have a 2013 , 2014 and a 2017 all with ABS.
The 2017 gives a far better ride than the earlier ones , especially the front forks.
I would buy a 2017 if I was you , the only thing I do not care for is the tubes , would prefer tubeless tires (flats)
Having put RIDE ON in the tubes gives me some safety incase of a flat.
In my opinion the 2017 is also a better looking and sounding bike than earlier ones.
In my 50 years of riding and over 50 bikes the CB 1100's are by far my favorite bikes.
