Hi thinking about getting a cb 1100 have some questions

To pay such a high price for a new CB would not be an option for me. Would because I already own a 2013 model and would by no means upgrade to a 2017 one. I prefer the first release and think, this is how the CB is meant to be. Further development did not make the Honda any better, the opposite is the case. It driftes too much away from the origin.

But you don't have a CB and have to choose. In your case I would save a lot money and try to find a relativ lowpriced rarely used one and enjoy it.

We have a few here who have traded up. I don't think a '17 is "5000 to 7000 better" than a '13 or '14, but if I were in the market for a CB, I'd spend the money and buy a '17 just because I'd prefer to have the spoke wheels.
