Amazed that the only damage done was to the oil cap...that’s great news. Sorry to hear of your mishap. A while back I did the same thing as you, forgot to put the kickstand down, while parking the bike in my garage. However, the bike fell on me as I was taking off my helmet. No damage done other than to my pride, and a sore back.
