My main lessons....make reservations for lodging (even campers were having a hard time getting spots)....if you get off the interstates, pay attention to your gas stops, keep it topped off whenever you can. It's easy to go 100 miles without services available.
Last I heard the MOA had about 4000-5000 in attendance. The only complaint they were light on vendors that normally come.
Little rain last two days....but we had a AIS time (ask ferret) at 5:00 AM Wed trying to beat one storm coming behind us and not catch the one in front of us.
We were pretty lucky (see little motorcycle on Garmin VI radar). Not overly impressed with Garmin, but when it raining and you can't keep your phone out, the radar comes in handy.
The dash board reminds me like flying an airplane with onboard radar lol
The weather radar is very cool.
