Well looks like im the minority here so far lol. I think there are plenty of us on here who enjoy a little extra sound to go along with the riding experience. I think one of the sweetest things is how each type of engine kinda has its own unique sound especially when amplified. I have a Vtwin Yamaha cruiser, Single cylinder Royal Enfield thumper, and of course the CB. I have an exhaust system on every one of them. Are they drag pipes with no baffles and constantly run full throttle for the sake of attention or disrupting society ? No. I simply enjoy the sound of my bikes and am pretty respectful with "getting on them" etc. Just like some people like quiet motorcycles or cars some like them the opposite or even somewhere in the middle. Im def a middle ground person. Its gonna come down to what each person wants in their riding experience. To each their own, and unfortunately there will always be bad apples out there ruining it for the rest of us. I do think the sound meter thing is ridiculous like red light cameras. Just keep giving up more freedoms of day to day business and next thing you know you'll have a camera strapped to you everywhere you go for the government to monitor you. Well maybe not that far lol. But i always felt like if there is a law about a certain decibel limit then fine, leave it up to law enforcement to enforce it. Just my 2 cents and i respect peoples opinion for what they like or dont.
