I've always felt that I'm a bit "out of step" within the motorcycling community because I detest loud exhausts on road bikes and it's just so refreshing to hear
from you guys that I'm really not alone. I've always thought that "loud exhausts" are just aural bullying, MAKING others suffer. It's all so tedious.
Now, racing 'bikes are a different matter and my favourite recording was a Stanley Schofield recording of Bill Ivy's 125 Yamaha and Mike Hailwood's 6 cylinder 350 Honda, screaming down the Mountain on the IoM TT Circuit (not in the same race!!).
