It serves as a reminder for all of us to take care of ourselves and loved ones too. If it's time for a check up, flu, shingles or pneumonia shot, we should get them especially as we move up in years.

This is exactly the sentiment that I was trying to convey.
He was to turn 65 in January and he put off going to the doctor because he didn't want any pre-existing conditions on his record before getting on Medicare. What an awful reason to lose your life.
Thank you to all of you for the condolences...they really do mean a lot right to me now. He was my second friend to pass within 3 weeks (to the day) of each other. All 3 of us would ride together a lot before I moved from Illinois to California and this month has been hard.
My other friend was in poor health and was not near the surprise that losing Mike was. They were both 64.
