"Combined ABS" Sticker

Thumper. Thanks for posting. Exactly where I would place this sticker. Just ordered one of these from ebay. Looks like it is coming from Thailand. Any tips on positioning the sticker or just eyeball it.

There are just a few pictures on the 'net of the stickers on European bikes, and Honda puts the sticker on the center of the gas tank, between the seat and the gas cap. I wanted mine to be more in the line of sight, which is why I put it above the cap (I also put one on my VFR1200F, which has Combined ABS).

There's no cover mask on this sticker, so I placed the sticker face side down on a strip (8-10" long) of blue painter's tape. Press it firmly onto the painter's tape, so that when you remove the backing paper from the sticker, the sticker remains on the painter's tape, upside down with the adhesive side exposed.

For centering the sticker on the tank, I lined up the "B" in "ABS" as the center of the sticker, and aligned it to the center of the gas cap. I marked the top side of the painter's tape with a Sharpie pen, to make this part easier, as it's difficult to see through the blue tape.

When you place the sticker on the tank (measure seven times, place once!) rub the top side of the painter's tape fairly forcefully, to completely stick the sticker down. Then, slowly peel the painter's tape off, and your sticker should remain on the tank.
