All that's around as far as a backrest goes for these bikes would be a top box. With the factory luggage rack the top box has an optional back rest, but it's only available in Japan for some reason even though we can get the rack...stupid, I know. Even though the aftermarket top boxes don't have a dedicated backrest built in, I'm sure they can be used as such without issue.
There are a couple of companies making hard cases for the bike, but again they are made overseas and have to be ordered in and the side cases will require the relocation of the rear turn signals.
The options are out there and a couple of postings have been made here. Have a look around and you just might find what you're looking for.
