Air funnel, is a pretty simple device actually, I believe one member frabricated a similar solution out of some garage items. Basically all it does is eliminate the air box cover. So their is more flow, and allows the filter to stay in place while operating the motorcycle.

Just so i'm not being misleading. I'm suggesting Air Intake funnel here's the link. http://www.samurider.com/?p=16803

the other mod, i've read of is a pain in the ass to get done. "air funnel Kit" I'd suggest staying away from that unless you are very handy with the tools.
