Arrow exhaust.

I'm getting closer to buying a couple of Arrow slip ons even though they are much more than I wanted to pay.
I'm not sure about the finish though so has anyone here fitted Arrow nichrom exhausts ?
As far as I can tell they are just silver colour and not chrome finish so how is nichrom finish to keep clean and does corrosion affect it. One side will get brake dust and the other chain oil spots so does it just wipe off or leave stains. Does it shine like stainless steel and can it be polished.

I really don't want to make a mistake so any experience with nichrom would be greatly appreciated.

I can’t speak to this particular finish but I’ve seen tons of Arrow systems on Ducati’s and they have all been nice

I saw one today in a bike shop on a Triumph Tiger and it looked like unpolished alloy which would look ok on my silver RS. Its the same material that elements for kettles and such are made of I've been told and may polish to a shine.

Anyway today I have ordered a pair from Italy and delivery is a couple of weeks so happy days ahead

Not sure if I'm going to get these arrow slip ons from Italy now as the seller is stalling and running out of time.
I have a feeling that the seller is doing the now usual Ebay thing of selling items he has not got, then ordering from another seller and waiting for delivery. He is still listing the arrows as 1 available 2 sold so other new buyers could be waiting as well as me.

The seller had 100% feedback when I ordered but then a week later had 98% with some neg feedback about 2 or 3 months longer delivery time and items never arriving.
The strange thing is he now has 100% feedback again which I didn't think it was possible to delete neg comments ?
I'll give him till weekend then maybe go through the ebay refund saga. I'll be very disappointed if this happens as I can't get any slip ons from anywhere else in the UK.
Thats not actually true there are two ironhead slip ons listed but the db killers needs a spot weld to be drilled out to remove them so if it's too loud how would they go back in? I doubt a self tapper screw would hold them.

Yeah, that is an inconvenience for sure.

Seems almost like a "new accepted" behaviour. In some cases sellers hold on to your cash for months and reinvest it elsewhere, then ultimately cancel the order and refund your stash.

The arrow slip ons did not arrive so contacted the seller again through ebay only to be asked for an email address for the courier which I sent. Then I get an email outside of ebay from the seller saying due to problems with arrow production line est delivery will now be mid November and can I please wait and also not start an Ebay dispute or leave neg feedback etc etc.

The seller is still claiming to have stock which he hasn't and is also on Amazon selling but after a little thought and being about 700$ at risk and mid November being well outside ebay's claim a refund policy, I've decided to play safe and open a dispute and claim a refund through Ebay. I'd rather have the goods but too risky.

The whole process has been very disappointing and I'm back to square one of not being able to get any slip ons for the cb1100 in the UK despite having four well known exhaust makers nearby. I guess there are not enough cb1100's to make it worth their while.

Fkng charlatan. Personally, I would leave the negative feedback - because it's the truth.

I've grown weary of resellers doing that, especially when on their own websites. In 2022 the tech exists for real time inventory tracking, yet time and again I purchase from sites that appear to maintain their own stocks only to find the contrary. It's @~*^e practice and certainly shouldn't be permitted on ebay.

So what's next? Say, Pipemasters are only 1645 gbp plus shipping!

I have had two outside ebay emails from the seller begging me to close the dispute and offering me a £60 discount then a £70 discount and delivery this week. I know if I close the dispute I can't re open it so I'd be at his mercy so I'm sticking to my refund request.
I really don't like sellers who list items they have not got.
