It's now a hard question to answer. Once upon a time, unless you were a traitor, it was the draft beer produced by your local brewery. An exotic beer was one from another state. The big corporates started buying breweries and the beer became homogenous until the whole craft beer thing caught on. Now you can find any number of good craft beers depending on your taste. Of the 'big' brewery stuff, Coopers from South Australia make a good drop.

As for Fosters, there was a time when it was common; nowadays I seldom see it. I suspect most of it goes to Europe, the UK and the US and you are all very welcome to it. Similarly, you can hang on to Budweiser.

If I sound like I know what I'm talking about, I don't. Once when I was away riding with Pterodactyl, I ordered a craft(ish) beer in a pub. He asked me whether I could tell the difference between it and the mass-produced concoction he was drinking. Of course, I said, so he put me to the test. I failed.
