So, instead of paying to have my ECU reflashed I could have just soldered a 10¢ 330 ohm resistor to the ECU exhaust port feed?

No, clearly that is an oversimplification. The ECU Reflash, while expensive, encompasses many more parameters, and you can request that many of those parameters be "custom tuned" to your liking.
No simple "Plug" or "Resistor" can do that...but it is a start.

I think that it is important to note that one of these 02 Sensor By-Pass Plugs is provided with each Power Commander. It then provides a baseline to which other fueling improvements can be added by the PCV module.
