Top attachment point is a wire hook welded horizontally, the vertical piece lloks like a C with a hole in top which goes over hook and a hole in bottom which holds ends of 2 springs.
yes, thank you, that looks sensible. I have the C shaped plate just not the hook on the cross member. Perhaps i can fabricate something that can work with the bracket supporting the ECU above otherwise off to the fabricator for a weld on.
If not too much trouble, can you also photograph the mount bracket on the frame for the left side header near the cat ?

Here are a few pictures with wires and DLX dual exhaust. Currently side stand only until i solve for the missing bracket for the center stand return springs. Also, had to trim off the side stand extension which eases putting the stand down when seated, it interfered with the muffler shield. I hope to reweld it to the "foot" of the side stand.
Bike is quieter than with the single sided exhaust with Staintune, probably about the same as with stock right side muffler. When Staintune begins to sell the rumored dual system for 2014 models, i may by the left side muffler to go with the right side i already have. But i don't mind the quieter operation, kind of soothing. We'll see.
