Powder Coating Chrome Fenders

I was able to successfully wrap the front fender myself. It’s a little tricky, but once you get a feel for how the material works under both heat and stress it isn’t hard. I’m confident I could also do the rear fender but the taillight house might be a little hairy. I’m not sure if I like the black, compared to a powder coat it is not as deep looking. Overall, for a $12 experiment I’m happy with the results. It certainly will not hold up, a couple rocks and it will chip right through. This is not a permanent addition, merely a placeholder until I pull the trigger on powder coat or OEM black fenders.
