It’s very frustrating turning on the wipers to indicate a turn and it doesn’t seem to matter how long I drove a European manufactured car, I still did it occasionally.
To add to the digression even further; when I drove a Toyota Land Cruiser Surf(very popular in the area) for the first time in Kabul, I was shocked to see the right turn signal activate instead of the wipers. Other drivers were equally shocked to see someone actually signal before a turn. It turned out that the owner of the Toyota had "imported" the vehicle from Pakistan, relocated the steering column to the left side but didn't bother with the indicator/wiper stalks
