Peter, just for discussion purposes. IIRC, without checking the diagram, the fouth wire is for the thermister on the ‘14s pump. The main fuel pump difference is the ‘14 pump flows more than the ‘13. Pressure is the same for both. I don’t know why the flow is more on a ‘14, but I bet I could easily make a ‘14 pump work on a ‘13 by using a 3 pin connector (which I have) and just leaving the thermister not connected.

Of course I don’t have a ‘14 pump laying around or I might try it. Fuel quantity might read wrong, can’t remember the details on that right at the moment. Just thinking out loud here.

I was only swapping gas tanks, f/pumps always were the same.
If you used '14 pump for '13 model you would only have to transfer 3 wires, as you said, and must use flat/rectangular block connector from '13 to make fit to its male harness connector.
