Exhaust upgrade for riding style??

Here's my experience. I installed a Staintune slip-on not too long after purchasing my CB1100 back in 2013. To this day the exhaust note remains one of my favorite aspects of riding this motorcycle. While a bit louder than stock, I certainly don't consider it to be loud and the tone it is definitely more throaty than stock. My opinion is that when it comes to exhaust modifications on these bikes actual performance gains are minimal unlike the perceived performance gains (due to the exhaust note). I'm okay with that as these bikes aren't considered high performance machines by today's standards but they're still capable of lifting the front wheel in the first couple of gears and plenty fast for me.

Good info there. The price of the stayintune is the crux. Anyone have any input on the delkevic full systems. They are being sold for 350-450 depending on the finish. The low price for a full is concerning considering the price of their slip ons. I do like the look of an exhaust that says close to stock. Most of the delkevics fall short there

Is the stock system stainless or chrome?
