but the difference is, that BMW is an European brand, who is aware that will sell a lot of R18s, and therefore has made the effort to engineer such an engine with air cooling and still be compliant with Euro5: but what about Honda with the cb1100? will they see the past EU sales numbers of this model as something it's worth investing for a re-engineered engine, just to sell it also in Europe? Because in every other part of the world, the current engine is still perfectly ok..
