Could have been bad but turned out ok. She jumped to cross the road just as I was passing her. Her first jump was straight at me, then she turned parallel to me and took 2 bounds, then she tried to get away from me and started scrambling. She leaned right, I leaned left, her momentum carried her into the side of my right leg, and as I passed she spun and went down. I lost sight of her ( nevr saw where she went after going down) but when I looked in my mirror the fawn was crossing the road and it looked like you were headed straight for it. Sounds like it crossed in front of you. Lots of deer out here, and I have encounters about once a week, but they aren't usually THAT close.lol
I worry about deer encounters because deer are just so unpredictable. One time they will stand on the side of the road and let you fly by, next time they will spin and run away from the road, and the next time they will just jump out in front of you. Stupid deer.
