I read an article which stated the output watts for the 2014 cb1100 stator is 336 watts. Now at 336 watts and let's say 13.5 volts (I know it is a 12v system but running voltage is usually around 13.5v)...that gives about 24.8 amps. I'm not sure how much the bike uses while running with the lights on but those fog lights would use up around 9.5amps at 13.5 volts (bike running). See end of article... http://www.mcnews.com/mcn/model_eval/2014_07CB1100.pdf
I haven't personally checked the voltage running or not running so calculations may vary. I used this link to help figure things out, because I am too lazy to do it myself.

I was considering adding fog lights later so now I am curious about this.
Working with automotive modifications I can understand why they would not want to install the lights. They may not have all the information and don't want to be responsible for aftermarket adds ons which may overload the system. It may be easy to install but knowing the calculations and how to do them are not always a strongpoint for "some" mechanics...I must emphasize that I did not say "all" mechanics.
