So...if full synthetic can help performance....I would think the 10/30 would have less drag than 10/40...being slightly thinner, right?

The first two I used the regular petroleum 10w30. I was initially thinking to stay w/ 10w30 when switching to synthetic, but the dealership only carries the 40 and suggested this for Carolina weather.
