Chip Beck Spec Corbin Seat

Well I just ordered the Chip Beck spec Corbin seat and they said it would be 6 to 8 weeks to deliver it. Early June then.. I asked about a show discount and she was quite particular that I had to have gone to the show and talk to them so she didn't give it to me. Guess I could have pressed for it more but I didn't feel like lying about going to the show in Florida when I didn't go.
Also, she was quite insistent that there is no warranty on the seat cover itself against stretching since there aren't any tucks so if it stretches, I'm SOL. Based on what I read here, I don't think that will be a problem.

Just got off of the phone with Corbin & ordered mine! For those interested, they were in fact able to look up 'Charles Beck from Arizona' in their system to duplicate... Thanks Chip, for this, as well as all your other mods/explanations.

I drove down to Hollister a couple of weeks ago to have my Corbin seat made custom, but I kind of wish I had read this forum first, as I did not get a Chip Beck special. I've only got about 150 miles on the new seat and I'm not yet liking it, please tell me it's going to feel better over time.

I haven't had the Corbin seat for the CB, but have had Corbins on other bikes in the past and I found it usually took about a thousand miles for it to properly break in and feel really good. I would expect yours will improve over time.
