Hi,
I made my first oil change at 1000 km (Motul 5100 10w30 Jaso MA2, original oil filter) and since then I have noticed that when the engine is cold there is a sound coming from the bottom of the engine, maybe it was doing the same before the oil change but I have noticed of it right now. The sound is grave but slight, like a rumour, then when ride 5 minutes and engine gets warmer the sound disappears. Is that sound normal? Thanks.

Don't worry about it. Noises can become obsessive. Enjoy the ride. Your oil change has not affected your engine. If this noise continues and becomes worse, continuing throughout the whole temperature range, take the bike to a qualified motorcycle mechanic to diagnose. Is the bike still under warranty? Perhaps not the best question to ask you after suggesting not to worry. My bike makes all sorts of noises at times. I remember asking Cormanus to jump on my bike to listen to a "noise". He heard it but couldn't pin it down so I continued on. That was about 30000kms (or more) ago. The noise has since faded into the mists of time and Last Blast still works well. I think it might have been the front tyre or brake pads. Maybe.
Cheers
Actually it was before I started using HUBRIS Omni Grade.

Thanks, the sound doesn´t seem to be worrying but... In addition I would say that some other times Lentava Rauta doesn´t make it when it´s cold. I wonder if it´s something related with the extra amount of fuel it injects in the warm up.

I use the Motul 300v in 15w50 and I have not had any problems.

There was some early complaints about this when the forum first started, but I don't think it turned out to be anything. Just nature of the beast, and iirc it was during extended warm ups. Some said it was caused by using 10w40 oil and that the noises stopped after switching back to 10w30, but there was never any proof that that was the issue.
