Shifting is difficult because I cannot bend my left ankle due to a decades old injury. I haven't been able to find a heel/toe shifter for my CB1100; there doesn't appear there is a vendor who sells one, and I haven't found a work-around. Looking at the shifter setup and the location of the left foot peg, it is in the way. Any ideas out there?

The short answer is there is no source for one for this bike.
However, the question has been asked and this was a suggestion:

There is another possible solution that would cut in half the amount of pivoting of your ankle. I did the modifications because it is much faster and easier to shift.
Basically, your foot never needs to be above the shifter.

If you are in the So Cal area, I would be happy to show it to you.
