I used to use the crude out of the ground, it seemed like it made the bike run smoother, and quieter. I have a bud who owns a bike service place, Prodigy Motor Sports, in Springtown, TX, so I had him do an oil change when I bought my current bike. He told me he had used synthetic, and I told him about my theory. He said, "All race bikes use synthetic." Couldn't argue with that.
