Mine actually read 6214. ?

And in England we are still using LSD. not metric.

What did you find on the tire, looking 180 degrees across the diameter from the 6214?

That impression is preceded by DOT (Department of Transportation), a USA requirement. Without DOT, it is not a DOT number.
