A 2013 CB1100 passed me while I was taking this picture this morning...
This little church is pretty much in e middle of nowhere and my wife has always admired it when we've passed it.
The CB1100 rider was wearing a red and black mesh jacket (Joe Rocket, maybe?). I was too slow on the uptake to snap a pic. His outfit look familiar. Who was it?

Good morning,
That was me, yes I was wearing a red & black Joe Rocket mesh jacket. I live in Gurnee about 7 miles south of the Church where you were stopped. I try to avoid traffic & congestion, most of my rides are in rural southern Wisconsin and often go up Hunt Club road, but avoid it close to dusk because too many deer. I saw you taking a picture of you wife and thought for a moment I should go back and offer to take a picture of the two of you. My apologies for not stopping, hope you enjoyed your ride!

No need for apologies, but we're up there a lot, too, so don't hesitate to stop and say hi if you see us again. We rode to Elkhorn for the Walworth County Fair. Hot, but we had a great ride there and back. Hope you enjoyed your ride as well

Hello CB Pat,
So sorry for not responding sooner. While I truly enjoy this forum I don't get on it nearly often enough. I had very little free time the last few months. I definitely would like to get together with a fellow CB1100 owner/Gurnee resident. For me the ridding season is pretty much over. If you would take a rain check and aren't put off by my slow response maybe we could go for a ride?

I say we all meet for breakfast at Cowmark Cafe in Trevor and then go for a short (or long) ride from there. But I'm thinking that we should do this in the spring. (not to horn in on the Gurnee brotherhood or anything.)

Hey I live in Chicago and ride in the northern Illinois/southern Wisconsin region all the time.
Last week I went up to Glacial Park and hiked around, it was a cool ride.

I like to use a Lake/McHenry County parks as meet up points for group rides I lead into Wisconsin. Much more scenic than a gas station or McDonalds. Haven't used Glacial Park yet, though.

Just checking cuz we have a few 'hunt club' roads around. I'm up near Elkhorn, don't know that exact location.
