Maybe not what you were thinking of but i am playing with the idea of a bicycle white led blinker, they sure get the attention and are easy to mount etc.

Another futuristic idea is an led with the rhythm of a helicopter xenon flasher, + +.............+ +...........+ +

Depending where and what time you ride.

I’ve got the Kisan “Pathblazer” with the optional photo cell. The pulse unit installation is straight forward. It’s cramped quarters in the headlight bucket, so you’ll have to maneuver the wiring around (it fits, but it’s tight).
If you opt for the photo cell; it plugs into the pulse unit, but you’ll need to mount it. If I remember right; it didn’t come with a bracket?
I didn’t see the CB1100 listed in their application chart, so double check the link below.

Do a search; I’m sure there’s a thread on these.

Edit, found it

I put a Signal Dynamics plug and play modulator in my bike. Easy install, tucks away inside the headlight bucket. I have noticed that cagers seem to notice /see me a bit better with it on.

I ran the Kisantech unit for a while on my 2013. It failed somewhere around the 1.5-2 year mark after riding 30K+ miles with it installed. I just had the photo cell zip tied to the handlebars.

My kisan headlight flasher died in less than a year. One day I only had high beam, no low beam.

My kisan tailight flasher also died in less than a year. Had no brake light at all- my riding buddy told me or I would never have known.

I bought them at the same time and was *very* disappointed as I really liked them both when they worked.

Worst thing is- at least you got 30k+ miles out of them, I had only ridden *maybe* 600-800 miles, yea a few tanks of gas. Bike is always stored in my heated garage.

I emailed the guy- I forget exactly what he said, but it wasn't very helpful so I just removed them and went back to stock.

I don't know if it is the quality of the parts (china?) or the quality of the assembly- but caveat emptor?

I bought a Kisan taillight flash bulb as well, it failed within the first week and the seller was no help (eBay seller). I removed it for a week then re-installed and it started working and lasted another 40K miles and was still working when I traded the bike in.

One thing to consider, some riders have opted to install the modulator on the high beam wiring, so they have the option of riding with the low-beam functioning as it normally would (I guess it's useful in certain situations). I'm not a fan of these things, but it's a cool idea. Best of luck.

Thanks to all for the tips. I went with the Signal Dynamics module and I’m talking to two of my brothers to check it out as well, never be too safe.
