Horn/Flash Button Reverse Idea

While we’re digressing, cars manufactured specifically for right hand drive markets have their indicator stalks on the right hand side of the steering column. European. Are imported to Australia have their indicator stalks on the left hand side of the steering column. Of course the control for the wipers is on the opposite side.

It’s very frustrating turning on the wipers to indicate a turn and it doesn’t seem to matter how long I drove a European manufactured car, I still did it occasionally.

Did I start this digression?
Oh well, just wanted to point out the benefits of being intimately familiar with flash to pass trigger...which I can find much easier than horn button.

As I use my indicators a lot more than my horn I put the 2014 indicator/ horn part on my 2013 and have them all the same now :2013, 2014 and 2017.
It feels a lot more "natural " to have the indicator button close to my dumb.

To add to the digression even further; when I drove a Toyota Land Cruiser Surf(very popular in the area) for the first time in Kabul, I was shocked to see the right turn signal activate instead of the wipers. Other drivers were equally shocked to see someone actually signal before a turn. It turned out that the owner of the Toyota had "imported" the vehicle from Pakistan, relocated the steering column to the left side but didn't bother with the indicator/wiper stalks

I suggest, not only for you but for everyone, the purchase of modulating headlights. When mine is on, no one, and I mean NO ONE, left turns me or passes in my lane head-on.

I have very bright driving lights mounted that run on a dimmer from 10-50%, and when I hit the flash-to-pass trigger, they go to 100%. I also have it wired so that if I hit the horn, they go to 100% and the high beams turn on.
