Guhl Motors and ECU Re-Map for DLX / EX with Idle Issues

Hi Beardy, believe it or not, but I replaced the battery in my bike today and the idle problem is cured! I am NOT saying that the new battery cured the problem because it is probably just a coincidence, and my idle problem has come and gone before, but I just thought I would let you know. I replaced my battery because I turned the motor off at a stop light last Saturday when I was tired of the 1,500 RPM idle, and it wouldn't restart (I push-started it back to life and rode home). A load test of the battery performed by the dealer showed it needed replacing. I'll keep you updated.

Maybe it's like a Microsoft computer, you need to do a full reset, every now and then, to clear bad memory and get back on track?
