Front head light position
#1
Hello forumHello
I have my CB 1100 in the garage and looks perfect to my eyes.
I have 2 other bikes right now and have learned about them and their needs , this one however is very new to me. so you will see me posting a lot of questions to the forum.
I needed to ride the CB at night , I was riding in the city and streets and freeway were very well illuminated by lights.
I however realized the front head light ,either at high or low beam focuses at something like 10 feet in front of me.
I don't know if it is because of windshield bracket installed that limits the movement of light or it is the factory design. I think I have dart windshield and bracket. Thanks
Thank you

Hi Ennsync!

Do you have a closeup of the mounting?
I adjusted my headlight some months ago and had no problem to increase height.

Greetings to my beloved SoCal,
Markus

i actually had the exact same issue early on, and I noticed it after installing my own Dart screen. if you just loosen those two bolts on the side, tilt the lamp up a bit, and retighten them it will be much better. after I adjusted the angle my low beam is catching objects way out in front of me.

I'm still going to swap to an LED lamp at some point though.
