Those look like very good shocks with lots of adjustment.

Ironically, I will have no problem dropping $800 on a slip on exhaust that only provides very marginal performance improvements and is mainly for sound and looks. I've said it before on this thread that the rest of the bike isn't up to snuff to match these shocks. To get the most out of them, I think an aluminum swingarm ($1000) and reworked forks ($1000?) would be in order. On the other hand, these have so much adjustment, you can probably tune them such that they don't makes other parts of the bike stand out in a negatively light. That is to say, you would be leaving a lot of capability of the shocks unused, but the level of fine tuning available in that narrow window makes this a better choice than the $400 Ikons. The Ohlins are much sportier in appearance, which is worth something. Maybe I am talking myself into getting the Ohlins...

I did from local (in NC ) guy who builds and rebuild mostly race bike suspension.
No shipping or tax.
