Battery issue

No surprise. The AGM batteries tend to fail in odd ways. As in your case, they can start the bike up nicely, only to appear stone dead a few minutes later. That's how mine died. It lasted only two years due to the desert heat.

New battery installed as well as wiring for the new battery tender. All seems to be fine now and I will keep the battery tender on it when parked.

I put in an Odyssey battery on my KLR in 2009, over 8 years ago...pricey at $150, but it sure has lasted.
