They even look remarkably like the PR3, but they are by no means a pale imitation. Now that i've done enough miles to mostly break them in, I can say that they feel better than the original. my mid corner confidence is up, and the bike seems to tip so much more readily. Of course, this is my first set, so I can't report personally on mileage, but I've read multiple reports of people running these on Honda ST1300s and other sport touring bikes with more power than our CB and getting between 14000 and 15000 miles out of the rear tire! I'll check back in a year to report real world wear on the front and rear, but I think it's going to be durable as all get out.

Price was even a non factor. I paid just $10 more for this set ($225) than i did for the last set of closeout Michelin PR3's i bought. For any of you out there looking for a replacement for your out of production michelin tires, this is the one.

This tire TIPS. and it tips QUICKLY. I will say though that this tendency creates the feeling of being slightly less straight-line stable when travelling 80mph on a blowy highway. It may be that it just has to be worn down some.
