What is the simplest way to remove the four little caps that cover the bolts holding the handlebar in place? Is there a tool one should use to keep from scratching up the top clamp or the buttons themselves? I want to move the handlebars just slightly toward me.
Thanks,
Bob

I have been thinking about a Moriwaki 4 into 4 exhaust for my 2017EX, but have some questions maybe some of you guys out there that have it can answer.
1.) I am a little reluctant to give up my center stand, so for those that have the M4/4, has it been an issue, and do you miss the center stand?
2.) Generally an exhaust change requires a re-tune. I dont want an add on like a power commander, so is it necessary to re-tune , and what procedures have others used if it is necessary?
3.) Does the M4/4 have oxygen sensor bungs? Should it be used with sensors, or without with bung plugs?
4.) The M4/4 is stainless single wall pipe if I am not mistaken, whereas the stock EX is chrome exhaust is pipe in pipe that eliminates pipe discoloration. Has anyone found the M4/4 stainless to discolor to any significant extent?
My thanks to anyone for answering these questions for me. http://cb1100forum.com/forum/images/smilies/clap.gif

| Anyone wrap their tank with paint protection film? |

After multiple communications with Lucas at thetankslapper.biz, and after giving me some hope at first, Lucas has concluded that he won't be offering a paint protection pre-cut kit for the 2017 EX. There is not a bike available near him to use as a pattern, and his dealer says he will not be getting one unless it is ordered for a customer. So I am thinking of just buying some xpel film and making my own, though there is no doubt a die-cut set would be nicer. I am also considering having the entire tank wrapped, which would make the use of my magnetic tank bag less worrisome. I am wondering if anyone here has had a full wrap done and if it was able to be done with a single sheet of film?
Also, Lucas' cell number is in the 760 area code, which is in California. Is there anyone with a 2017 EX that might be willing to swing by his shop and let him measure your tank? If yes, I can call him to see if he is interested and to find out exactly where he is. Just an idea....

Thinking it was this past Sunday 07/08/18. NE Ohio. South of Cleveland.
#1. Intersection of Mennonite Road and SR43 (red/silver CB.) Near Aurora. You were heading south on SR43.
#2. Intersection of SR82 & SR 44. Near Mantua. Next to each other at traffic light. You turned north on SR44.
Any of you guys? Quite eventful to see two of these lovelies on the same day while I was riding my Black 2014.
