Thinking real hard about the Honda ADV 350 [url=https://www.thaihonda.co.th/honda/laravel-filemanager/photos/shares/Accessories/AW_TH_ADV350_H2C_Catalog-2.jpg]Touring Master Edition.

Still thinking about my original choice, the Honda CRF300L Rally, though... Need to rent an ADV 350 for a couple of days first to see if I can adjust to a big scooter instead of a motorcycle.
is that coming to the US??

Cool article...the visuals are great, but what I found interesting were the [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K28H04Y2IdE]Fascinating Rythms. I can't help wonder if people have prefererences for these firing orders based on what music they prefer.

360: Bang, 2, 3, 4, Bang, 6, 7, 8 (prefers Rock music)

180: Bang, 2, Bang, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 (prefers Jazz)

270: Bang, 2, 3, Bang, 5, 6, 7, 8 (prefers Latin music)

And I've a hunch that many CB1100 owners have little to no rythm and basically show a disdain for dance. But I'm... likely mistaken.

Banana
... I gotta think those are urban freeway worthy. Probably "perfect" for L.A. congestion.

The ol' Honda Forza 300 (283 cc?) appear to handle suburban freeways well enough between 100 and 120 km/h.

Of course, urban and suburban local road use would be splendid.
well, I do like rock if I ever listen to music, which is really, really, really rare. Don't like jazz or hip hop. I can listen to just a little country once in awhile. I can listen to just a little classical music once in a great while (like every 20 years or so lol.)
Maybe a kawasaki Z650RS or new CB400F if imported in Switzerland
Having never owned a Kawasaki I think a lightly used Z900RS Cafe will be my next bike
A Z650RS would be on my VERY short list, if budget and the possibility of Mrs. riding it weren't a consideration.
Had a very interesting conversation a few days ago with a client at a trade show. We were talking bikes, and he had just sold his Z900RS. Said it was too twitchy and nervous on the road for him... not the typical retro comfortable, laid back bike he was hoping it would be.

An NC would be the perfect choice, and I'm always perusing used models. But, seat is kind of high, and might not be a good first choice for Mrs. Again, I have to keep the "maybe she will" thought in consideration.
I think the Z650RS is a 180 degree firing twin. I have read that some find it buzzy on the freeway.
