What motorcycle would you buy next?
Great bike if not a little underwhelming at times. Like you said excellent daily workhorse.

This IS what it is, twin.

Not sure what that means [url=http://cb1100forum.com/forum/member.php?action=profile&uid=3454]PB.

There are smaller twins that will easily out-hustle the 1140cc CB1100. It is easy for me to make that comparison, and you know this already.

Hmmm, no. Only sumthin' like 57 hp ... but still more than most 650 cc twin offerings.

My little 660 twin makes 100hp stock, at the crank of course.

Such a weird feeling engine compared to an inline 4 though. It’s like a peppy lawn tractor.

Once upon a time I was not a big fan of inline twins, heck, any twin for that matter. For half my riding life I was addicted to inline-4s and their silky smooth output.

But 21st century inline twins seem to have its own addictive impulse (lately maybe because of that 270 degree firing arrangement?), a beat that is hard to ignore. In addition, if you also have an inline-4, it feels that much sweeter mounting that lump after completing a job on the twin.

I love getting on my CB after the NC. The power, the smoothness. What a great motor.

I am not a fan of the " throb" of 270 degree P Twins. Neither on my NC nor my brothers 2016 T -120 Bonnie. My 2003 T-100 with 360 motor and counter balancers was sooo much smoother. However I put up with it for the NCs other good attributes.

That is good Power-D, A few articles like that help share the mechanics behind the implementations.

As we have read, riders ultimately share what they like by feel. Take Ferret's recent opinion for example. Everybody's body 'n' mind absorb, tolerate and resonate differently. It is great to have variety.
