My 2014 Wrangler just turned 70,000 miles. My 2013 CB1100 (but new with 0 miles in 2017).

Assuming average annual miles on both remains unchanged in the future, at what mileage will both odometers read the same? Show your work. Lol

Bonus: what date will both odometers be the same?

This should be easy: your 2014 had zero miles in 2014. Your 2013 had zero miles in 2017.

2014 + 2017 / 2 = 2015.5 ... both had zero miles in July of 2015.

Am I close?
Good try, pdedse, but we can't solve this one without the Ferret's grandmother's age.
On August 23, 2026 both vehicles will have 87,959 miles on their clocks..
My 2014 CB had 74,000 miles on it when I gave my 2010 Honda truck with 64,000 miles on it to my daughter last month.
