Now everything is fine, it was 3 miles short Big Grin
... for some reason it sounds complicated. Huh

Should be: ODO December 31, 2023 [minus] ODO December 31, 2022 (23:59:59)

The arithmetic doesn't get simpler.
I was sure I had made a trip to the Muskoka area where I had accumulated about 340 miles on my DLX and I hadn't seen miles recorded anywhere near that number on the forum... but either I was wrong, or it was in 2022, or both???

I don't go by odo's because sometimes I will let one of my nephews or someone else borrow one of my bikes for a ride. When my Nevada nephew comes into town for a Men's Fall Trip I will lend him one of my bikes for a week. Like on a Men's trip. I would get double mileage credit if I just went by odo numbers. I do keep 2 daily logs, one for mileage, total days ridden for month/year and on which bike I rode and the other with mileage ridden which bike, total days ridden for month/year and weather conditions at time of ride or why I didn't ride.

You can see both of my bikes on this trip in 2021 (far right my NC, 2nd from right my CB with my nephew in black coat) plus my son, my younger brother and my son's FIL on a trip to Central Kentucky on the Rattlesnake Ky 192

Just updated my mileage book and my spreadsheet along with the Forum's spreadsheet. I haven't kept track of miles ridden on someone else's bike, but probably should for 2024 as I'll be riding rental bikes on two different trips. When we were in South Dakota, I let Ferret ride my bike and I believe I recorded those miles as my own -- not enough for me to worry about and I was riding with him on another bike anyway.

Thanks Django for keeping the mileage sheet up to date.
When's your Scotland trip, MTC?

I think we arrive in Edinburgh 9/13 and ride 9/15-9/21. Then to Ireland, but without motorcycles.
MTC, rental bikes or your own?
For sure it will be a great ride!

Rentals...part of a tour, actually.

The other two couple with whom we ride (and who some of you met at the last rally) are joining us so it's essentially a private guided tour. People in our group have used this outfitter for trips to Africa and to New Zealand. This will be Cheryl's and my first outfitted tour and our first trip to Europe ever.
you will love the experience MTC
