Day 312 and 20 for 20 in December, 37 degrees... 46 miles

down to 186 to go.

Tomorrow is officially the first day of winter. Hard to believe since it's been so cold for so long.

Can't complain about todays weather, even though it's the official first day of winter. They said it was going toget to 45 but the highest I saw on the ST's thermometer was 36. Rode up to Clinton Co Motorsports near Xenia Ohio to see if they had anything new in. They didn't. Good ride though

Day 313 and 21 of 21 in December... 36 degrees..145 miles.. now at 24,461

Only 39 miles to go. Should be able to knock that out tomorrow. ;)

I think that you should "cross the finish line" of your yearly goals on your CB1100. 39 miles to get to your mileage goal tomorrow and, if you are so fortunate to get to 12/31 riding each day, then you ride on the 31st on your CB. Deal?

The Ferret reported to me that his cable was cut, but that he rode 53 miles today, smashing his 25,000 mile goal and he did so on his CB1100. He claims that the cable will not be repaired until Jan 3, which sounds more like he failed to pay his bill, but I'm not going to say so publicly.

He now is 22 for 22 in December and, since he won't be posting, he will have plenty of free time to get a ride in each of the remaining 9 days. We will see. Also, we will see if he rides the CB1100 on 12/31 if it does indeed come to pass that the ride will be number 31 out of 31.

^ Right there! Good news. And bad.

Watch him tick past 25,500 now! There's no stopping him!
Wait... he just passed his 24,500 goal, right? So the next level would be 25,000 even, not 25,500.

Ha I'm back! ... Construction co that cut cable did a tempory fix. We shall see how long it lasts. Permanant fix Jan 3 I think.

Yes Rolls met the 24,500 goal on the CB yesterday.

Today was gloomy but about 40 degrees. Good enough for 102 mile ride on the ST. Day 23 of 23 for Dec and now sitting at 24,616 miles. 384? miles to 25,000. May make that afterall. Didn't think it was going to be possible. We shall see. They are calling for rain for the next couple of days. But maybe there will be some holes in the clouds I can get some more riding in on.

Darn it all to heck....back to not swearing.

Welcome back to the internet and glad you got a nice long ride in today. Merry Christmas. :)

Making the 25,000 mark would be insane, for any normal human; which, evidence suggests, excludes you!

Very impressive, indeed!

Congrats Ferret. May the weather gods smile upon you so's you get to ride your CB on December 31.

Day 316 and 24 of 24 for Dec.. weird weather. Rained all night. Was 45 and foggy when I woke up. Got on the road at 1:30. Roads were still wet. during the next 2 hours it was overcast, sprinkled rain, and the sun came out. Temp got up to 46..1 whole dregree warmer than this morning.

Anyhow got in 95 miles for 24,711 for the year and need 289 to make 25K if that's going to happen
