Have you ever visited the WW1 battlefields where you grandfather fought? I've had an interest in WW1 aviation ever since I saw the aircraft used in The Blue Max movie on display at Powerscourt in the 70s. My wife and I even went over to the Somme in 2017 for the 100th anniversary of the death of Albert Ball, the RFC fighter ace, killed aged 20.
Maybe we should meet up for breakfast in Laragh on the CBs when the weather warms up a bit, in order to continue the conversation!
